BRITISH SPEEDWAY NETWORK & MILDURA MOTORCYCLE CLUB TEAM UP THIS SUMMER
THE British Speedway Network is ready to unwrap live speedway at Christmas! The BSN network is delighted to announce a unique partnership with Mildura Motorcycle Club to bring coverage of the GT Onsite Windscreens Phil Crump Solo Classic presented by Karym Cleaning on December 29.
The worldwide stream means an opportunity for fans to watch top class action including two Grand Prix stars in 2017 World Champion Jason Doyle and Jan Kvech, Cardiff GP wild card Tom Brennan, reigning Aussie Champion Rohan Tungate and former national title winners Brady Kurtz and Sam Masters.
In addition, there are also plans to stream Mildura’s round of the Mallee Bearings Australian Solo Speedway Championship at Olympic Park Speedway.
BSN chief Ben Duffill revealed: “We’re very excited to partner with Mildura Motorcycle Club for their 2024/2025 season.
“Olympic Park Speedway is an exceptional racetrack and the team there have some superb meetings lined up during the British Winter, which I’m sure our subscribers will be keen to watch.
“The line-up they are putting together for the Phil Crump Solo Classic is hugely exciting, with many names that are familiar to most fans here in the UK, as well as fans worldwide.
“I expect the line-up for the Australian Solo Speedway Championship will be equally as attractive too.
“Our partnership will help to promote some of the best speedway Australia has to offer to a much wider audience via the BSN platform, in the same way our partnership with Team USA at Kevin Harvick’s Kern Raceway, California has done.
“It also offers our audience some top-quality speedway to watch when the season here in the UK has finished.
“This is a partnership that we hope will last long into the future and we’re thankful to Mildura Motorcycle Club for the opportunity to work closely with them.
“More details will be released closer to the time, which will be announced via our website, email and social media pages.”
The full field for the Phil Crump Solo Classic also includes other top names including ex-World Under-21 champ Jaimon Lidsey, British Under-21 champ Sam Hagon, Luke Becker, Justin Sedgmen, Jonas Jeppesen, Kacper Grzelak and Fraser Bowes.
Mildura Motorcycle Club’s Ryan Sedgmen said: “We are excited to be teaming up with the British Speedway Network to live-stream the Phil Crump Solo Classic and Australian Solo Speedway Championship at Olympic Park this Australian Summer (British Winter).
“BSN run a professional show and we hope to show off our great venue to more European viewers plus our loyal Australian viewers.”
