Jock Goodyer will drive Paul Silva’s 57W Sprintcar on the USA west coast.

The scheduled first race is at Tulare Thunderbowl Raceway in less than 48 hours time (as of August 14).

What an incredible opportunity for Jock.

If you asked me which Australian driver should come to the USA and in what car and race in which area … these guys have nailed it.

Without adding any pressure, he’ll be a perfect fit for the High Limit series which is full of young drivers trying to prove themselves.

He’s a young, clean racer whose first shot at racing in the USA is with a team who just won their second consecutive and third out of the last four Knoxville Nationals just five days prior. Goodyer will at tracks he will thrive on.

Yes, technically, a different car than what Kyle Larson won Saturday’s Knoxville Nationals in, but the same team.

We’ve been raving about Jock for a while now. I can’t wait to see what he does.

His schedule runs for six weeks, starting with 10 High Limit events and 6 WoO races to finish the visit.
