MULTI QUEENSLAND CHAMP BRODIE COHEN FOR SIDECAR CENTURIONS CLASSIC

Multiple Queensland Champion and former runner-up in the FIM Oceania Championship, barnstorming Brodie Cohen, is the latest big name rider confirmed for the Sidecar Centurions.

Cohen and his highly talented passenger, Josh Murray, have pledged their support for the Centurions event, being staged on December 28, as an integral part of the two-night Australian Speedway Centenary, at North Brisbane Speedway.

Cohen, from Townsville, in North Queensland, has been a front-runner on the national scene for many years and his team’s inclusion is seen as a major bonus for race fans and event organisers alike.

Also a three time winner of the prestigious Gary Moon Memorial, Brodie Cohen and Josh Murray have enjoyed a highly consistent campaign, in recent years, having finished on the podium an astonishing 20 times from their last 23 meetings, over the past two seasons.

“I’m rapt to be selected in the field for the Centenary event,” Brodie said.

“This event is going to be unbelievable and it’s a true honour to be involved in the sport’s Centenary event at North Brisbane Speedway. Based on what I’m hearing, the December 28 (sidecars) and 29 (solos) events, are coming together really well and I’m sure the sidecar field, on night one, will comprise the best race team’s in the world.

“We will prepare meticulously for the event and leave no stone unturned in our pursuit of the Centurions Trophy. It’s a trophy we desperately want”.
