FIM SPEEDWAY: CLUBS ISSUE JACK HOLDER & JASON DOYLE INJURY UPDATES
Aussie duo Jack Holder and Jason Doyle face a spell on the sidelines following a crash at the DEWALT FIM Speedway GP of Poland – Wroclaw on Saturday, June 20.
Both riders were involved in a first-bend spill in heat seven, along with Polish racer Kacper Woryna, with Holder taken to hospital by ambulance.
Holder’s clubs Gorzow and Sheffield have both confirmed that the world No.5 is set for surgery and faces some time on the sidelines.
Meanwhile, British side Belle Vue has issued an update on Doyle to confirm he sustained no broken bones but was left “battered and bruised” by the incident and will miss their Rowe Motor Oil Premiership clash at home to Ipswich on Monday night.
We wish both riders a speedy recovery and will issue further updates in due course on the SGP series’ injured stars ahead of the FIM Speedway GP of Sweden – Malilla on July 11.
