SPEEDWAY CLASSICS #7 MAGAZINE LIFTS OFF THE LAUNCH PAD!

A big crowd was on hand to witness the launch of Dennis Newlyn’s Speedway Classics magazine #7 at Sydney’s Liverpool Regional Museum, Saturday, December 6.
MC for the day was Sydney radio station 2GB motoring correspondent and Royal Automobile Club of Australia (RACA) motoring committee chairman David Berthon.

Special thanks to former multi Australian Compact Speedcar Champion, Speedcar and Sprintcar star Rod Bowen for bringing the Warriner-Harvey-Freeman Mackay Offy for display and also the special guests for the day, 12 times Australian Sidecar Champion Darrin Treloar, ten times National Sprintcar Champion Garry Rush, and Liverpool Speedway sedan icon, Australia Test team member, multi state and national titleholder Peter Crick.

Special thanks to the magnificent staff of the Liverpool Regional Museum for so much hard work behind the scenes to make the day a success.
Also to Perth’s former Claremont Speedway Director Con Migo, two times Australian Speedcar Champion John Fenton, speedway commentator Ben Bishop and Speedway of Nations Australian team world champion Brady Kurtz for the”best wishes” messages shown on the function room big screen in the countdown to the Classics magazine launch.
