FIM SPEEDWAY: KUBERA’S MEDICAL UPDATE

Polish star Dominik Kubera has confirmed he underwent knee surgery as he starts his road to recovery for 2027.
It is unclear when Kubera initially sustained the injury, but it has been a tough season for a rider who sat out the ATPI FIM Speedway GP of Great Britain – Manchester double-header, as well as the DEWALT FIM Speedway GP of Latvia – Riga.
Posting on Facebook, the former Speedway GP star is now looking forward to his rehabilitation. He said: “The knee operation is already behind me. Now the next stage begins – returning to full fitness!
“Big thanks to Leszczynìskie Centrum Medyczne “Ventriculus”, led by Dr. Karol Klamke, for full professionalism, great atmosphere and above all top-notch care! Now it’s time for patience, rehabilitation and consistent work.”
News of Kubera’s surgery comes days after he secured a return to Swedish club Lejonen for 2027.
