TROYER LEADING THE WAY IN AUSTRALIA

WHEN it comes to the most successful brand in Australian V8 Dirt Modified racing over the past two decades, there is only one that is worthy of holding that title, and that’s Troyer.
Imported into Australia since 2008 by the Brisbane, Queensland-based JBR Motorsport, there is no other brand of V8 Dirt Modified that comes close to the consistent success on the V8 Dirt Modifieds scene around Australia. No matter whether it is on the east or west coast of the country, the list of wins captured by a wide range of drivers is extensive.
JBR Motorsport is owned and operated by the Britten family, and they have been a major factor and history makers within the Australian V8 Dirt Modified ranks, with firstly Peter Britten, who has for the past 15 years been based in America flying the Australian flag in Modified racing, and then secondly Peter’s younger brother Kevin, who has go on to make his own impact in the class by becoming the most successful driver in Australian V8 Dirt Modified Championship history with six national title wins – the most recent being his 2025 triumph at Warrnambool’s Premier Speedway in Victoria.
“Although Troyer is massive overseas in both America and Canada, our goal from the beginning with JBR Motorsport has been to lift the bar when it comes to V8 Dirt Modified racing here in Australia through the Troyer brand,” commented Jane Britten from JBR Motorsport.
