FIM SPEEDWAY: DOYLE CHECKED AFTER CRASH
Aussie racer Jason Doyle was taken to hospital for checks after crashing out of Polish Metalkas 2 Ekstraliga club Krosno’s meeting in Rybnik on Sunday, May 31.
The incident occurred in heat five, when Doyle slid off on turn three on the first lap after contact with Denmark’s Jesper Knudsen. The 2017 SGP world champion took no further part in the meeting.
Posting on their social media channels on Sunday, the Krosno club stated that “everything indicates that Jason will return to the track in a few days and will play in the Sunday match” away to Lodz.
Doyle is due to compete in the ATPI FIM Speedway GP of Great Britain – Manchester double-header on Friday and Saturday.
