FIM SPEEDWAY: THOMSEN CALLED UP FOR PRAGUE

Speedway GP first substitute star Anders Thomsen has been confirmed as Fredrik Lindgren’s replacement for the FIM Speedway GP of Czech Republic – Prague on Saturday.

Thomsen was handed the opportunity after the Swedish star crashed out of Polish club Lublin’s 46-44 loss away to Leszno on Sunday, with Lindgren taken to hospital for checks.

The triple Danish champion comes into the line-up for Marketa Stadium’s 30th straight year of Speedway GP racing and wears his No.105 race jacket.
