Kaiden Manders has gone back to back in the 2025-26 Maddington Toyota Sprintcar Series after claiming round five at Albany Speedway night.
He won the 30-lap feature race from Ryan Farrell and Jason Kendrick in the event backed by Albany World of Cars.
Manders started from position three in the final and quickly slotted into second by Farrell, who started on the front row with Kendrick.
Manders hit the lead with about 12 laps remaining and from there held the position until the chequered flag, despite a last-lap lunge from Farrell.
Manders was quickest in his qualifying group from Kendrick to set the Victory 1 Performance Quick Time, with Kendrick second overall.
Farrell was quickest in his group, with Jake Robinson, in only his second sprintcar appearance, being quickest in his group.
From there Manders was second to Kendrick in the first round of heats, before being second to Farrell in the Revolution Racegear A Dash.
Manders’ win was on the back of his victory in the WA Sprintcar Championship, at the Perth Motorplex two weeks ago.
Farrell was second in his heat race before his Revolution Racegear A Dash win. Kendrick claimed the Revolution Racegear B Dash.
Rookie Kodi Clayden won his first heat race, taking heat one, with Kendrick and Callum Williamson taking the other heat races.
The race only lasted one corner before a crash involved Ryan Lancaster and Dayne Kingshott.
Kingshott was able to get a restart, albeit at the rear, while Lancaster was out for the night, being the primary cause. This elevated reserve, American Justin Whittall to the field for the full restart.
Callum Williamson was fourth, after starting from p4, ahead of Brad Maiolo (who started from p14).
Jack Williamson was sixth (after starting from p13), Jason Pryde was seventh (from p10), Kingshott raced his way back up to eighth, while Whittall moved up to ninth and Clayden was 10th (from p11).Round 6 of the series will be at the Perth Motorplex on December 26, being the Burson Auto Parts Boxing Day Bonanza, the start of a big Speedweek campaign.
