‘QUICKEST CHICKEN’ READY TO HIT THE SOUTH WEST
Young hard charging Texan Chase Randall has been in Australia since Christmas and so far has picked up the 410 SA/Vic Speedweek, the NSW/Qld Speedweek running at as many tracks as possible with some solid results.
Now, as part of his Aussie tour, the team are slotting a 360 engine in the Sprintcar’s chassis and throwing their hat in the ring for the Mainline DynoLog Dynamometers All Star Challenge $15K to win event.
This quietly spoken racer comes to Australia after running 80 plus shows last season, collecting two prestigious awards at Iowa’s Knoxville Raceway along the way, winning the 360 Rookie of the Year and the 360 Hard Charger. At the ripe old age of 18, Randall already has a full season with the USAC National Midget series, run 12th overall with the ASCS series and a full season at Knoxville Raceway under his belt.
Randall is driving the Competition Suspension/Ultra Shield Race Products / LLC DKM Motorsport owned USA #9 Maxim. Team owners are giving it one hundred and ten percent and deserve every credit for introducing a new talent to Australia.
Chase is known as ‘The Quickest Chicken’ in the States due to his Buschs Chicken sponsorship, so let’s see if we can continue that nick name over here.
“It’s fantastic to add another young throttle stomper’s name to our already exclusive Yankee list of drivers for this show. After watching him at several shows I just know that he is going to love the little bull ring at Simpson and put on a show for the crowd,” promoter Mandy Searle said.
So remember the date for the Mainline DynoLog Dynamometers All Star Challenge – January 21, Heytesbury Stockfeeds Simpson Speedway.
