GLASGOW ON TRACK
GLASGOW are hopeful of tracking a full side when they face fellow play-off contenders Redcar at Ashfield tonight (Friday -UK time).
Tigers No.1 Craig Cook crashed out of last week’s impressive home win over leaders Leicester, and he will have a late fitness test before confirming his availability.
A switch of riding order for the home side sees Danyon Hume moving back into the top five whilst Connor Bailey returns to reserve. The Bears also have a similar alteration as Jason Edwards steps up as Adam Roynon goes to reserve.
Glasgow boss Cami Brown said: “We’re 85 per cent sure Craig will be in the team on Friday. He’s going to come up early for a practice and hopefully he’ll come through that OK – but we’ll have someone on standby just in case.
“Last Friday against Leicester I thought was our best performance of the season. Most people might think Redcar aren’t as good as Leicester on paper, but I don’t think that.
“They have plenty of guys who know our track well so it won’t be easy.
“Our home record the last two or three years has been fantastic and we want to keep that going. It’s our last match before a bit of a gap in the home league meetings and it’s crucial we win them all.”

EDINBURGH are set to welcome back Lasse Fredriksen and James Sarjeant for tonight’s (Friday – UK time).) home clash with Scunthorpe.
The sides meet home and away this weekend with the return at the Eddie Wright Raceway on Sunday, and they are direct rivals for a Championship play-off place.
But whilst the Monarchs have two injured riders returning, the Scorpions are without Jake Allen (broken scaphoid) and Jordan Palin, who crashed in a Great Britain training session on Thursday.
The visitors bring in Theo Pijper as a guest and also hand a debut to James Wright, who signed after Tero Aarnio was ruled out with his own injuries.
Scorpions promoter Rob Godfrey said: “It is tough covering for so many injured riders, but we do have a plan for tonight at Edinburgh.
“We know Theo Pijper is very strong around there, which is why we’ve brought him as a guest and we also have other riders who can compete around Armadale.”
