EASTERN CREEK SPEEDWAY CANCELLS NEXT TWO EVENTS

The next two events at Eastern Creek Speedway have been cancelled, whilst construction at the venue continues toward completion.

The venue was opened on March 12 and also conducted a race meeting the following week (March 19), however it was becoming increasingly difficult to prepare for event days,

further hampered with limited access to the venue, infield and track preparation during the week.

At this stage, it’s hoped the venue will re-open with its planned calendar from April 23/24 for the NSW Sprintcar Championship.

Eastern Creek Speedway management apologises for any inconvenience this may have caused patrons. Speedway Promotions Pty Ltd explained: “We hope you can understand the safety and preparation required for an event is our paramount concern. Any tickets pre-purchased for this weekend’s event will be refunded.”
