KING’S Lynn have pulled off four new signings to revamp their team for the 2022 Premiership.
Spectacular Dane Peter Kildemand has agreed to return to British racing, and he’s joined by Australian ace Josh Pickering plus British duo Richie Worrall and Jack Thomas.
They will link up with Richard Lawson, Thomas Jorgensen and Lewi Kerr as the Stars look to bounce back from a miserable 2021 when they finished bottom.
Manager Alex Brady said: “Overall I’m really, really pleased with how we have built the 2022 side.
“We’ve not gone for an ‘out-and-out No.1’ like Ipswich have with Jason Doyle, but we’ve followed the strength-in-depth approach with almost five or six No.5s, and our three starting heat-leaders all have potential to improve their average.
“The strength-in-depth approach is something which leaves us with a strong reserve all season long, meaning that if a member of our top five is having an off night, we have suitable replacements, something we did not have the luxury of in 2021.”

IPSWICH have added club asset Danyon Hume to their squad as No.8 for the new Premiership season.
Hume rode for the Witches at Championship level in 2016-18 and had a stint in the top-flight for play-off qualifiers Sheffield this year.
He said: “It will be nice to go back. In the time I’ve been away I have been at Poole and have been in the National League with Leicester, and I feel I have matured as a rider. Now is the right time to go back home as they say.
“I just want to hit the ground running at the beginning of next season. A lot of work happens behind the scenes in the off-season, and I am gearing up to do the Premiership and Championship. It’s just one of those things, hopefully I’ll get a ride in the top league.”
