ALL STAR SERIES SPRINTCARS COMMENCES DECEMBER 4
The fifteenth season of the Mainline DynoLog Dynamometers All Star Series commences this Saturday night, December 4, atBlue Ribbon Racew ay, Horsham, Victoria.
“I can’t wait to see all our old teams, meet our new teams and be back at Blue Ribbon Raceway again for our opening night. Unfortunately we lost our first two rounds but everything looks good for this Saturday. Weather is good, car numbers are good and we are all pretty keen to start,” series operator Mandy Searle said.
A star studded field of top 360 competitors including the current series champ Rusty Hickman, current Victoria 360 Champion Brenten Farrer and three past series titleholders are in the mix – what a cool way to kick off the season!
The 2017 All Star Legend Paul Solomon has run with the series since its inception and after his return from Darwin earlier this year, he has swapped his 410 for his 360 in the V# 7.
He is keen to lock in top results and possibly be the first three-time Series Champ. Michael Tancredi’s V#29 has claimed victories in the past at Horsham and enjoys the Blue Ribbon running at the track. Mr Speed Matthew Reed is again partnering up with another long term series regular Kenny Hutchins. Hutchins always provides a fast and reliable car and Reed knows how to make it perform to its best.
McClure Racing has teamed up with Brad Warren this season as a contracted car; Warren has only a handle full of 360 runs but will be one to watch in the VA#9 Maxim. Committing to his second full time season V#73 Charles Hunter is a top gasser running third in the series overall last season. The V#39 car driven by Brett Smith is locked in as a series contracted car. The D#26 Todd Moule entry has just returned from the NT after competing at Northline Speedway all season. Moule has just turned 18 but has gained laps and experience over this period.
Meanwhile the V#43 of Corey Sandow has formed his own team and updated his number to 43. Seasoned youngster Jordyn Charge (V#60) always shines in his 360 and even though he is still only 22, he has years of experience under his belt. Regulars Brown, Bolitho, Zac Farrer, Cullinger, Scott, Campbell will be looking for strong results to start their individual seasons. Throw in a couple of All Star rookies, Jeremy Kupsch, Todd Hobson and Jordan Abbott, we can guarantee the racing will be hard and fast as always. Engine starts and hot laps commence at 4:30pm, December 4 at Blue Ribbon Raceway, Horsham in Victoria.
