Former Australian (1991/92) and multiple state Super Sedan Champion Brad Scotcher has proven he still has the wheelhouse skills as he knocked the rust off to finish second in class and sixth outright aboard the Scotcher’s Hyundies Racing #50 entry.
Saturday’s stint was a nine hour enduro and followed up with another six hours on Sunday as they slugged it out for the first time around the 8km track layout for the 2021 MeLonAid 8.0 at The Bend Motorspork Park, SA over the November 14 and 15 weekend.
Brad was first to say it was a total team effort and was full of praise for his co-drivers/team and was quick to commend all the other teams, officials and supporters for their efforts.
The event was hosted by Motor Events Racing who promote Australia’s largest budget motor racing series, where competitors are given as much track time as possible with a bunch of mates and racing that’s not taken overly serious, but a hell of a lot of fun! All of this plus raising awareness and funds for Rare Cancers Australia.
