WORLD CHAMPION BARTOSZ ZMARZLIK REELED OFF A SECOND STRAIGHT PGE EKSTRALIGA MAXIMUM AS GORZOW MAINTAINED THEIR 100 PERCENT RECORD IN 2021.
World champion Bartosz Zmarzlik reeled off a second straight PGE Ekstraliga maximum as Gorzow maintained their 100 percent record with a 52-38 victory at Grudziadz on Sunday.
The Polish icon racked up 13 paid 15 points from five rides as Gorzow triumphed convincingly to make it three wins in as many matches.
Zmarzlik wasn’t the only FIM Speedway Grand Prix rider on top form for the visitors as Martin Vaculik bagged 12 paid 13, while Anders Thomsen tallied 10 paid 11. Former Polish champion Szymon Wozniak raced to 10 paid 13.
Triple world champion Nicki Pedersen topped the Grudziadz score chart on 10, while Przemyslaw Pawlicki notched nine and Krzysztof Kasprzak scored one paid two.
In the day’s other meeting, Lublin’s Danish star Mikkel Michelsen led the charge on 12 paid 14 points as his side saw off visitors Wroclaw 52-38.
Michelsen was in high-scoring form, along with Dominik Kubera, who tallied 10 paid 12. Former world No.2 Jaroslaw Hampel added 10 paid 11.
Glen Chugunov starred for Wroclaw on 12 paid 13, with Artem Laguta adding 11 paid 12 and Maciej Janowski notching nine paid 11. But the visitors badly missed Tai Woffinden, who sat out with a broken shoulder suffered on Friday.
