CALLUM CLAIMS SUNDAY SESSION AT PERTH MOTORPLEX
Callum Williamson claimed round two of the 2026-27 Maddington Toyota Sprintcar Series at the Perth Motorplex on Sunday evening, November 1, 2026.

He won the 30-lap feature race from last-round winner Kaiden Manders and AJ Nash in the twilight show that was rescheduled after wet weather postponed the original Saturday schedule.
Williamson was on the pace from the afternoon, being quickest in the third qualifying session, before going from fourth to first in his heat race, a win from the front row in the Revolution Racegear A Dash and a front-row start in the all-important final.
Manders, who also started on the front row, led for the first few laps before Williamson grabbed the lead, which he held for much of the contest, except for a moment on about lap 24, taking the popular win after posting a DNF in the first round.
For the second week in a row Manders set the overall Victory 1 Performance Quick Time and in his heat race went from fourth to second. His night improved from there, winning the B Dash.
Manders was doing double duty on the night, also contesting the WA Speedcar Championship which he crashed out of early on when starting in front of the pack.
Nash came from p8 to claim third, holding off a fast-finishing Andrew Priolo.
He was fourth quickest in qualifying three, before a second in his heat race and a 4th in the B Dash. Nash’s third follows a strong fifth in the first bout of the season. Priolo just missed out on third, after starting from p6.
Brad Maiolo was fifth (from p10), Dayne Kingshott 6th (from p7), Daniel Harding 7th (from p4), James Inglis 8th (from p14), Jason Kendrick 9th (from p5) and Kris Coyle rounded out the top 10 (from p9). Jaydee Dack was a big mover, going from 24th to finish 11th
Aaron Chircop was the first out of the main event, hitting the fence early on before Harrison Peet activated a caution with a spin soon after. Michael Keen hit the fence in turn two on lap six for a red light stop, taking no further part in the show.
There were five laps remaining when Darcy Searle slowed, forcing a restart and at this point the stewards relegated a couple of cars in the pack for jumping a previous restart.
Round two of the series, the WA Sprintcar Title, will be contested at Bunbury Speedway next Saturday night.
This is the first of only two rounds that will be held at the South West venue this season.
