IT’S ALL ABOUT THE DRAW
THE draw has been made for the semi-finals of the BSN Series.
Edinburgh, Redcar and Poole all qualified as winners of their respective sections, with Berwick making it through as best runners-up.
Under the 2026 SCB Regulations, teams from the group providing two semi-finalists will not be drawn together at this stage.
This means Edinburgh and Berwick have been kept apart in the draw.
The semi-final draw is as follows:
Redcar v Berwick
Edinburgh v Poole
These ties will take place over two legs, with dates to be confirmed shortly.

GLASGOW answered the call for improvement with a 49-41 win over Plymouth in an entertaining clash at Ashfield.
The Tigers collected the Cab Direct Championship points despite a vintage showing from the visitors’ Scott Nicholls, who rolled back the years to score 16 points from six rides.
Nicholls and Danny King combined for 5-1s in Heats 11 and 13 to keep the Gladiators in the contest having been ten points down, but the home reserves also came up trumps in the closing stages.
Freddy Hodder partnered Leon Flint to a 5-1 in Heat 12 and Sam Hagon, who scored 9+2, did likewise with Kevin Juhl Pedersen in Heat 14 to secure the points.
Flint top-scored for the Tigers with 11 points whilst Nicholls was backed up by Danny King with 10+2 for the Gladiators.
Glasgow manager Cami Brown said: “It was Sam and Freddy who won us the meeting, they came up with the key moments. I’m delighted for them, because they’ve come in for some stick so far this season.
“It has been tough for them at times. But they have shown the right attitude, worked really hard and put in the hours of practice behind the scenes to get it right.
“Most people don’t see what they’ve put into it, but they got the reward they deserve.”
Plymouth boss Garry May said: “It was a really good, tight meeting and Scott was going out there really wide and liking it, and Danny was liking it as well.
“The new boy (Anze Grmek, 8+1) did well as well, it was the first time he’d ever seen this track, but we’ve just got to get the others going now a little bit.”

EDINBURGH were taken to a last-heat decider before banking the Cab Direct Championship points with an enthralling 49-41 win over Workington.
The Comets fought back from ten points down at Armadale and narrowed the gap to four points heading into the last race.
But home duo Kye Thomson and Justin Sedgmen raced to a 5-1 to get the Monarchs off to a winning start in their league campaign.
Sedgmen top-scored with 12+1 and Thomson kept up his great form with 11+1, whilst Troy Batchelor scored 14+1 from seven rides for the Comets and Jonas Jeppesen notched 11.
Edinburgh boss Alex Harkess said: “It got a bit tight in the end for me after we had been fairly comfortable at the start. They had riders who gated very well and made life difficult for us.
“Heat 13 was crucial because they were on a 5-1, but Nick and Kye fought very hard to turn it into a 3-3.
“I’d like to have had it sewn up before the last heat but we didn’t; however Justin and Kye combined brilliantly in that. That made it look like an easy win, but it wasn’t.”

WORKINGTON again bring in reserve guests for their Cab Direct Championship home clash with Plymouth today (Saturday, 3pm).
The Comets are still without the injured Vinnie Foord, whilst Max Perry is away on Long Track duty, so Mitchell Cluff and Mickie Simpson stand in.
Rider replacement is in operation for Craig Cook, who is also sidelined, whilst the Gladiators are at full strength as they complete their northern tour.
Comets boss James Denham said: “Plymouth are looking strong this year – as are most teams – and I expect it to be a tough match.
“Their new Europeans, Daniel Klima and Anze Grmek, could be their trump cards, while Danny King always flies round here, Scott Nicholls is consistently good, and Ben Barker can be effective on his day.
“Despite all the changes, I am confident we can do the job today.”

WORKINGTON and Belle Vue host the second and third rounds of the 2026 British Youth Championship (500cc and 250cc classes) this weekend with 18 riders taking part across the two sections.
Today’s (Saturday) event at Workington takes place after the Comet’s Cab Direct Championship fixture with Plymouth, which has a 3pm start time, and then the Youth meeting with be integrated with a Development meeting at Belle Vue tomorrow (Sunday) starting at 1pm.
NDL riders Seth Norman and Harry Fletcher make their first appearance in 2026 after missing out on Round 1 at Glasgow last month, and they will be joined current series leader Stene Pijper, Ollie Binns and Charlie Southwick, who also compete in the NDL, as well as a number of unattached youth riders.
Archie Rolph, the leader in the 250cc class, competes again and will be hoping to extend his lead before a break in the series with the next round taking place at Leicester on July 4.
