EDINBURGH have added youngster Jordy Loftus to their 2026 line-up as he looks to build on a positive debut campaign at Armadale.

The 16-year-old came in for the Monarchs midway through this year when they required a new rider at reserve, and he showed good improvement as they reached the Cab Direct Championship play-offs.

He now joins new signing Dan Thompson as the first two names on the team-sheet for next season.

Loftus said: “This year was a steep learning curve, but I feel happy with what I achieved, so going into next season I feel prepared to hit the ground running.

“I am hungry for more, so my goal is to come back stronger and faster so I can take it to the next level in 2026.

“I was really proud of how far I developed by the end of the season, but I have been reflecting, watching my races and I’ve already set myself goals for 2026.”
