DARREN KANE LEAVES IAN BOETTCHER RACE PARTS

The Ian Boettcher Race Parts team have today confirmed they have parted ways with long-time Super Sedan team driver and the company’s sales contractor, Darren Kane.

Following discussions with the Ian Boettcher Race Parts team, Kane handed in his resignation, which ends a relationship between the pairing that spans nearly 25 years.

“Darren has been a massive part of Ian Boettcher Race Parts from the early days, and his contribution during this period cannot be understated – both on and off the track,” commented Greg Boettcher on behalf of Ian Boettcher Race Parts.

“Over the years, Darren has brought a lot of expertise to table at Ian Boettcher Race Parts, which has not only benefitted our customers but the continued development of the business.”

Greg Boettcher continued by saying how much success the duo of Ian Boettcher Racing and Kane enjoyed in Super Sedans, along with Late Models for many seasons, on a wide range of speedway tracks around Australia.

“Darren will go down in history as one of the greatest ever speedway sedan drivers through the success he has achieved driving the Qld # 36 Ian Boettcher Race Parts team race cars over the past two decades,” he praised.

“On behalf of everyone at Ian Boettcher Racing and Race Parts, we would like to thank him for his efforts over the years and wish him all the very best for the future.”

When it comes to the success of the Ian Boettcher Racing team and Kane, there is a massive list of achievements, which includes:

·        National Super Sedan Titles x 4

·        Australian Late Model Championships x 2

·        National Super Sedan Series x 5

·        Queensland, NSW, South Australian, Victorian and Western Australian Title Wins (Super Sedans)

·        Queensland and NSW Title Wins (Late Models)

·        Many other major Super Sedan wins, such as Grand National and Grand Prix events

            In the meantime, the Ian Boettcher Racing team will be making a statement later regarding the upcoming 2025-26 season plans with the        Qld # 36 Ian Boettcher Race Parts Super Sedan.
