FIM SPEEDWAY: KURTZ EXTENDS WROCLAW STAY
World number two Brady Kurtz will spend the next three seasons with PGE Ekstraliga side Wroclaw after signing a contract extension until the end of 2028.
Kurtz enjoyed an epic debut season at the Olympic Stadium, finishing fourth in the Polish top tier’s average charts on 2.209 points per race as he made the step up from Metalkas 2. Ekstraliga.
He also enjoyed a sublime Speedway GP season, winning a record-breaking five straight SGP rounds, including the DEWALT FIM Speedway GP of Poland – Wroclaw, as he finished just a point short of becoming the first-ever debut-season Speedway GP world champion.
Kurtz signed off 2025 by lifting the FIM Speedway of Nations trophy with Australia in Torun and is set to play a key role in Wroclaw’s PGE Ekstraliga title hopes for the next three years.
News of his extension follows a new deal for six-time Speedway GP world champion Bartosz Zmarzlik, who will stay with Lublin until 2028.
