ULTIMATE PINK NIGHT AT Hi-TEC OILS TOOWOOMBA SPEEDWAY FEBRUARY 21
By David Budden
The Dondex Sheds, Garages and Carports Ultimate Pink Night is almost here coming to life on February 21.
It is shaping up to be one of the massive nights of Speedway while fundraising for the Toowoomba Hospital. Foundation and Breastscreen Toowoomba, be assured all money raised stays right here in the Toowoomba region
The past four years of Ultimate Pink Night, with everyone’s help, have raised over $110,000.
This season, we are aiming to hit our five year goal of $150,000. There will be splashes of Pink everywhere, and numerous ways to participate and donate on some truly magnificent auction items.
Check out the Hi-Tec-Oils Toowoomba Speedway facebook page for all the details.
There’s a lot of incredible things that happen at Hi-Tec-Oils Toowoomba Speedway but this is one of the most significant! Every dollar raised goes to purchase new life saving equipment to continue the fight against breast cancer across our region.
The night also holds a special place in the history of Speedway, as the night marks the 90th anniversary of Speedcar racing in Queensland. To celebrate this tremendous milestone, the Speedcars will contest a special 90 year anniversary race and have a static display of numerous Speedcars from years gone by in the Fanzone during the afternoon. Modlites are also on the program along with Fireworks and the Dondex Modlite Allstar Exhibition which has become a crowd favourite where three leading Sprintcar drivers drive Modlites against 3 of the divisions best drivers. The Super Rooster V8 Dirt Modifieds Champion of Champions is also on the program which is the final hitout at the venue before the Mayday long weekend when we host the Sweetacres Speckle Park Australian Championship. With $5,000 to win courtesy of Super Rooster so you can expect a ripper field of cars rolling into town for Pink Night on Saturday night. Round 5 of the Ultimate Sprintcar Championship is also set to impress so come along and enjoy the fireworks and the Speedway entertainment too of course as Australia’s best drivers come together with a common goal to raise valuable dollars in this very worthy cause.
There are so many things to do on Pink Night. Dress in Pink. Bid on an auction item, make a donation and buy some Pink Night merchandise.
