FIM SPEEDWAY: DOYLE SITS OUT BRITISH RACING FOR 2026
Aussie icon Jason Doyle has confirmed he will take a year out of British racing in 2026.
The 2017 Speedway GP world champion led Ipswich to the club’s first league title since 1998 this year.
But with continued confusion over the Premiership’s plans for 2026, Doyle has opted to focus on his commitments in mainland Europe, where he will race for Metalkas 2. Ekstraliga side Krosno in Poland, Danish club Esbjerg and an unnamed Swedish side.
Posting on Instagram, he wrote: “I just want to say thank you to everyone involved at Ipswich Speedway and the amazing supporters! The last four years have been amazing!
“I have thought long and hard about what to do in 2026, and I have decided to take a year off British speedway and just race in SGP, Poland, Denmark and Sweden. Thanks, Jason.”
