CHIARAMONTE CHALKS UP FIRST WIN AT ANTIOCH, SARALE CLINCHES USAC WS MIDGET TITLE

Antioch, California (October 11, 2025)………Braden Chiaramonte raced to his first career United States Auto Club (USAC) Avanti Windows & Doors Western States Midget victory on Saturday night at California’s Antioch Speedway.

Starting fifth on the grid, Chiaramonte (El Cajon, California) took over the lead with six laps remaining in the 30-lap feature to notch his first series win aboard the Rusty Carlile-owned #51.

In doing so, Chiaramonte became the second first-time feature winner of the 2025 USAC Western States Midget season after Dane Culver was victorious in August at California’s Santa Maria Speedway.

It was Culver who led the first lap at Antioch after starting from the outside of the front row. However, his lead was short lived as Jake Andreotti took over on lap two and proceeded to lead a race high 23 laps after starting on the pole.

Chiaramonte made the winning move on lap 26, which put him in victory lane in the event which was co-sanctioned by the Bay Cities Racing Association. Chiaramonte was also the night’s fastest qualifier, timing in with a lap of 13.883 seconds.

Andreotti finished as the runner-up followed by series point leader Caden Sarale who came home third to clinch the 2025 USAC Western States Midget championship. Culver and Kaleb Montgomery rounded out the top-five.

Heat race victories were captured by Culver and Ryan Bernal.
